FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT AGE DO YOU RECOMMEND FOR THE KITS?
We started selling kits for age 5-11 but had so many people wanting to buy for younger and older that we now sell age 3 plus up to adult.
Parents of kids under 5 know they’ll have to do more to help but it can be an awesome activity to do together.
NB Our kits are not suitable for children under 36 months and all children should be supervised when doing this activity.
WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED?
The kit has everything you need apart from scissors and an iron. It comes with test fabric and vinyl so you can have a little go with adhering the vinyl with and an iron before ironing the main design. (I would hate for you to burn your childs cherished design!)
Sometimes your child may like to draw the design to the correct size on a piece of paper first so you can work out what they may want to achieve.
IS THERE ANY HELP WITH IDEAS?
My children and I love printing T Shirts & bags together, coming up with designs and helping each other out. Their imagination really is the only limit however if you are feel a little overwhelmed or you need a little inspiration why not add one of our templates to your order
WHAT ABOUT THE SIZING?
We sell only organic T-shirts from age 3 – 12. We have found they come up small so please order a size larger than needed. I have opted for quality and comfort over true sizing.
The adult t shirts, although still organic are true to size.
WHAT ABOUT VINYL COLOURS?
I have tried to think of combinations of colours that would suit everyone but if there is a combination you want that isn’t an option, do please email me. I make the boxes up myself so can easily personalise.
WHAT ARE THE STENCIL CHOICES?
So many!
HOW MANY VINYL COLOURS DO I GET?
You get three colours with each kit. 14cm x 16cm approx in the larger itemed kits so you have a nice selection of which is normally plenty to print the T Shirt, apron or hoodie. Slightly smaller pieces of vinyl in the cosmetic bags and pencil cases.
Feedback from customers have said there is plenty for decoration and normally some left over.
You can always use the left over vinyl to up cycle a hand me down piece of clothing.
